The individual accused of the crime has been identified as Rakesh, according to police reports. Following the incident, the doctor filed a complaint at the Soladevanahalli Police Station. As a result, police registered a case against the accused.

According to police statements, the 28-year-old doctor was returning to her accommodation around 12:40 am after completing her hospital duties. During her return, the accused approached her on a two-wheeler, initially inquiring about a nearby bus stop. He then reportedly exited his vehicle and engaged in inappropriate behavior.
Response and Legal Action
When the doctor raised an alarm, the accused fled the scene on his scooter. In response to her complaint, a case was filed under Section 74 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), which addresses assault or criminal force to a woman with the intent to outrage her modesty.
