Problem Statement
Two nurses have an equal number of containers filled with pills. The question arises: How many containers must the first nurse give to the second nurse for the second nurse to have four more containers than the first?
Solution
The answer is two containers. When the first nurse transfers two containers to the second nurse, she loses two containers while the second nurse gains two. This results in a net difference of four containers between their totals.
