The incident occurred on Thursday night when the assistant professor attempted to take her own life. Her husband found her unconscious in their home and promptly transported her to the AIIMS emergency unit around 10:30 PM. Medical Response and Current Condition

Upon her arrival at the emergency unit, medical staff administered CPR, successfully reviving her. Despite these efforts, her condition remains critical, and she continues to be supported by a ventilator in the ICU. AIIMS Public Relations Officer Dr. Ketan Mehra provided additional details, stating, “She had completed her duties on Thursday and returned home. Around 10:30 PM, her husband found her unconscious. He reported that everything had been normal at home earlier, but later discovered her unresponsive after allegedly injecting herself.” He also confirmed that no note or message was found, and the reasons behind her actions remain a mystery.
