The accused is a Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) doctor employed at a primary health center in Daulatabad. According to police reports, the alleged attack was fueled by anger over the victim frequently parking his motorcycle in front of the doctor’s vehicle, which reportedly caused him inconvenience.

The incident occurred on Sunday night at a roadside pickup point in Sector 93, Gurugram, where multiple Swiggy delivery executives were waiting for orders. The police stated that the driver was irritated by the delivery agents congregating near the Swiggy warehouse.

CCTV footage that has gained attention online shows the doctor’s black Scorpio first colliding with a parked motorcycle before departing the area. Shortly thereafter, the SUV returned, veering dangerously toward the group of delivery riders and attempting to hit them. In this reckless maneuver, the vehicle again struck the same motorcycle before leaving the scene. The motorcycle owner confronted the driver over the repeated collisions, which reportedly heightened the driver’s anger.

Assault on the Rider

In a fit of rage, the driver turned the vehicle around, accelerated, and deliberately ran over the Swiggy rider who was standing nearby. Other delivery executives narrowly avoided being hit. The injured rider suffered severe injuries to his head, chest, and legs.

A police spokesperson stated to PTI, “During interrogation, the accused disclosed that he resides in Bhagat Singh Colony, near a Swiggy store. The delivery agent would frequently park his bike on the road, making it difficult for him to maneuver his vehicle. Holding a grudge against him, he ran over him with his car multiple times.”
