Following the video’s emergence, the administration of SN Medical College took immediate disciplinary action against the doctor, establishing an inquiry committee to investigate the incident.

According to a report by The CSR Journal, the doctor is a junior resident working under a temporary contract at Kamla Nehru Chest Hospital. After verifying the video’s authenticity and considering preliminary facts, the college administration suspended him promptly. Additionally, the junior doctor has been asked to provide a written explanation regarding his conduct.
Official Statements
Dr. Jodha, the principal of the college, described the behavior displayed in the video as unacceptable and inconsistent with the standards expected from medical professionals. He confirmed the formation of a formal inquiry committee to conduct a thorough investigation and submit its findings as soon as possible. Speaking to India Today, he stated, “The behavior shown in the video is not acceptable by any doctor, especially from someone associated with our institution.”

Reports suggest that the altercation began over dissatisfaction with the quality of tea served at the hospital canteen. What started as a complaint allegedly escalated into a heated exchange, resulting in the doctor shouting and directing abusive remarks at the canteen operator.
