FIR Registered Against Doctor and Hospital Staff in Newborn Sale Case
Allegations of Selling a Newborn
Mumbai: An FIR has been filed against a doctor and four individuals associated with a Govandi hospital for allegedly attempting to sell a newborn baby boy for Rs 5 lakh.
Details of the Incident
According to police reports, the doctor and the hospital’s staff manager assisted a 20-year-old unmarried woman, known to the doctor, in delivering her baby at the facility without adhering to the necessary medical or legal protocols.
