According to a report from Odisha TV, the doctor exhibited misconduct towards a patient seeking treatment. As bystanders recorded the event, he reportedly escalated his aggression, raising his voice further. It has been noted that there is a history of complaints regarding the doctor’s rude behavior, with similar grievances reported to higher authorities in the past.

In light of the viral video, the Chief District Medical Officer (CDMO) confirmed the allegations and acknowledged that previous complaints against the doctor had also been filed. The Nayagarh Sub-Collector is currently investigating these earlier claims.

Nayagarh CDMO, Pushpa Nilima Lakra, commented, “I will now discuss this matter with the District Collector, and action will be taken as per his directives. We are here to provide treatment to patients; misbehaving with anyone is not desirable. If Dr *** is found guilty, he would certainly face punishment.”
