2. Uploading of prescribed documents.
3. Choice filling.
4. Locking and confirming the choices filled.

It is important to note that candidates will not be able to register for the second round or any subsequent rounds of counselling.

Registration Fee and Payment Details

Candidates are required to pay a counselling registration fee of ₹ 2500 at the time of online registration. Any payment gateway charges will be the responsibility of the candidate. Please be aware that the registration fee is non-refundable once the candidate has registered for counselling.

Candidates should carefully select their preferences for available seats and lock their choices before the choice filling deadline. If a candidate fails to lock and confirm their preferences, the system will not accept their choices, resulting in no seat allocation. Once locked, the choices cannot be modified.

Allocation Process

Seat allocation will follow the order of merit and the preferences indicated by candidates during the choice filling process. To join the allotted seat, candidates must accept and freeze the seat, paying the first-year course fee of ₹ 1,25,000 (with additional payment gateway charges) within the designated timeframe. After this payment, the seat will be reserved for the candidate, and they will not be eligible for further counselling rounds.

Eligibility Criteria

According to the notice, eligible candidates who have submitted a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Cadre controlling authority in the proper format may participate in the Sponsored DNB Post MBBS seat counselling.

Candidates should note that seat allotment is contingent upon meeting the prescribed eligibility criteria and presenting original credentials at the time of joining the allotted institute. Ineligibility detected at any stage will result in the cancellation of candidature.

Important Notifications

Additionally, the NBE has published a list of candidates deemed ineligible for participation in the Sponsored Post MBBS DNB Seats Counselling for the 2025 admission session. Any discrepancies should be reported to NBEMS by February 22, 2026, at 1700 hrs, as the list will be considered final afterward.
