Coimbatore: SRM Medical College Hospital and Research Centre (SRM MCHRC), located in Kattankulathu, has been honored with the ‘Best Medical College Hospital (North Zone, Tamil Nadu)’ award from the Association of Healthcare Providers India (AHPI) at AHPICON 2025 held in Coimbatore. Representatives from SRM MCHRC, part of the SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST), accepted the award, highlighting the institution’s commitment to patient-centered care, advanced medical education, and ongoing improvements in healthcare delivery.
Additional Recognition at CII TN Healthcare Excellence Honours
In addition to this accolade, SRM MCHRC was recognized as “Best in the Category – Medical College Hospitals (Within Chennai and Suburbs)” at the CII TN Healthcare Excellence Honours 2025. This prestigious award was presented during the 5th Edition of Medclave on October 11, 2025, at the Hotel Radisson Blu in Chennai.

The Association of Healthcare Providers (India) – Tamil Nadu Chapter (AHPI-TN) concluded the second edition of AHPICON on November 8, 2025, at Merlis Hotel in Coimbatore. This year’s theme, “From Sustainability to Scalability: Empowering Every Hospital Tier,” sparked significant discussions on various topics, including quality, finance, technology, insurance, human resources, and leadership, all aimed at enhancing the strength and sustainability of hospitals of all sizes.
