The deceased were a practicing dentist and a retired Navy captain, residing in a villa in Vignan Nagar, near HAL township. Their son, aged 33, has been taken into custody by law enforcement.

As reported by The Times of India, initial investigations suggest that the accused, a software engineer who had recently returned from the United States, allegedly attacked his parents around 8 am following a heated dispute regarding financial issues. The accused had returned to Bengaluru three years ago after his stint in the US.
