Study Overview
The research analyzed data from over 10,000 men and women aged between 45 and 64, monitored from 1987 to 2016. Participants were required to maintain food journals to document their intake of various foods and beverages.

The study’s results indicated that individuals following a more plant-based diet had a 16% lower chance of experiencing a stroke, heart attack, or heart failure. Furthermore, those who adhered to a plant-based diet exhibited a 32% decreased risk of dying from heart disease and a 25% lower risk of mortality from other causes.
